CSOS Warwick
The Combined Services Orthopaedic Society Conference 2025 was held at Warwick School.
This two day conference allowed trainees to present their work and had some fantastic guest speakers discussing geopolitics and updates in various fields of medicine. This conference continued with concession tickets for medical students, foundation doctors and GDMOs, which allowed for fantastic engagement from non-trainees. Having the conference at Warwick school allowed for incredible defence engagement with cadets at the school. A particular highlight was the surgical simulation competition where students created low cost simulation aids for training.
The CSOS dinner was held at Warwick Castle and had a fantastic turnout.

The Peter Templeton Prize for the best presentation was awarded to Surgeon Lieutenant Commander Louise McMenemy RN for her presentation entitled “Biomechanical assessment of bone loss in transfemoral and knee disarticulation amputees”
