44th Conference
Where
The 2024 conference was held in London at the National Army Museum. Located in Chelsea, this remarkable venue was the centre for our 50th Anniversary celebration of the formation of the society.
Aim
The aim of the conference is to promote research and education throughout the cadre and ample opportunity for further our networks and connections.
The Defence Deanery recognises that this activity can attract up to 12 hours of CPD in line with AoMRC.
PROGRAMME
The two day programme focusses on trainee presentations on day one, with day two exploring the history of the society and several guest lectures. iCSOS 2024 was integrated into the two day conference and tickets will not be sold separately.
Abstracts
Abstracts are invited from all those attending the meeting. Trainees at all levels are expected to submit an abstract. Abstract submission is now CLOSED.
Successful abstracts will be published in the BJJ proceedings.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner was held in the spectacular Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Dinner tickets are now SOLD OUT and the reserve list is now CLOSED.
Conference FEE CLAIM
Other trainees must submit a 1797 form, at least 6 weeks prior to the conference. Please also submit your bank details to the CSOS treasurer via email for your claim at treasurer@csos.org.uk. Bank details will be deleted once payment has been made.
AcCommodation
Accomodation is extremely tight and the committee have secured a non-availability chit. Please see the AI for further information.
Tickets
Tickets are no longer available to purchase.
Concessions
Medical students, foundation doctors and general duties medical officers (GDMOs) will have access to concession tickets in the CSOS shop.
